Inspector Diane Davies -

On 5th June 2010 Diane Davies was the Investigating Officer when my partner died, he drowned rescuing our daughter from the River Dulas. Diane has kept in contact with me and my daughters all of this time helping and advising us and being there when we needed her. Diane nominated my partner, Philip Jack to the Carnegie Hero Fund Trust and Philip received a postumous award and entry in the Role of Honour at the Carnegie museum in Dunfermline. It was a great honour, when Diane presented this award to us at a special presentation with family and friends. Diane has continued to keep in contact with us and I believe that she has gone above and beyond the call of duty, I would now call Diane a friend. I would like to do something for Diane and let you know that you have an extraordinary person on your force.

Insp Tony Ward (Ammanford) -

Working closely with Insp Ward on the equality review group We find this gentleman to be an honest & helpful member of the police service. He is trustworthy and very helpful what ever you ask of him - he will always "go that extra mile" to get you the correct information and assistance. Every meeting we have been to has been organised excellently with a good variety of topics about disabilty, ethnicity, sexuality etc. These events are an excellent way of involving members (young and old) from all parts of our multicultural communities.

PC Gareth Lee 689 -

PC Lee showed great empathy, professionalism and outlined clear guide lines reassuring me at each stage and offering me help and advice along the way..............doing his job most people could say but its not the case he actually was very supportive
